Could you donate to our Pesach appeal and join our movement of welcome?
With the far-right on the rise, refugees are being left to feel unwelcome in the UK.
But we're fighting back every day. Donate today, and help us build a better, more compassionate Britain.

HIAS+JCORE is alarmed by the antisemitic arson attack on four Hatzola ambulances this morning. While we are relieved that no-one was injured, this shameful incident will heighten anxiety across the Jewish community. Hatzola provides vital services to people of all communities and faiths. That spirit of solidarity and responsibility is so important amidst a time of growing division and tension. Today’s attack was a cowardly assault on those compassionate principles. But at a time of rising antisemitism, we must continue to stand together with others to build the safer, more cohesive society we all need.
We're horrified by the cowardly arson attack on four Hatzola ambulances this morning.
At this alarming time of rising antisemitism, we must continue to stand together against hate, wherever it is found.
Our Executive Director Rabbi David Mason has joined senior faith leaders from across the UK in speaking out against the Government's settlement and citizenship reforms.

Now, more than ever, we need leaders across all political parties to reject demonising narratives, and to help foster a climate where compassion, cohesion, and safety for all can truly flourish. (4/4)
At this worrying time, our communities must continue to stand together, united against those who would divide us. (3/4)
While the full details are still emerging, it is clear that Islamophobia – alongside antisemitism and other forms of hate crime – has risen sharply in the UK in recent years. (2/4)
HIAS+JCORE is deeply troubled by reports of an incident at Manchester Central Mosque earlier this week. That such events took place during the holy month of Ramadan makes them all the more distressing. (1/4)
Reads: In recent weeks, we have all seen the horrific consequences of ICE raids across the United States. Amidst this backdrop, we are incredibly concerned that Reform UK is proposing the introduction of a similar deportation agency in the UK. Let us be clear what this would mean. People left terrified to go to work. Children unable to go to school. Members of our own local communities scapegoated and too frightened to walk the streets.
Reads: When punitive enforcement and divisive narratives trump dignity and welcome, the very fabric of our society is damaged. Our partner organisation, HIAS, is already witnessing these impacts every day through the refugees and immigrants they serve. Their experience should be a warning to us all: when we allow our immigration policy to be led by hate and fear, not compassion and responsibility, the results can be catastrophic.
Reads: This is a worrying moment. But guided by our Jewish values, we will continue to advocate for an immigration system that upholds human dignity, and where values of solidarity and fairness are core.
It's incredibly concerning that any political party would propose introducing an ICE style deportation agency in the UK.

Amidst such darkness, we have to find the strength to bring light into the world this Chanukah. Our pain and grief must drive us to remain resilient and stand against division - working to bring people together for a future where all can live free from fear. (3/3)
The global rise of antisemitism and violence is a truly disturbing trend. We cannot allow growing hate towards Jews - or, indeed, any other minority or group - to ever become normalised. (2/3)
We are deeply distressed by the horrific events unfolding in Sydney.
Our thoughts are with all those affected and the Australian Jewish community. May the memories of those killed be a blessing, and we wish a quick and full recovery to all those injured. (1/3)
The Government's new asylum policy risks condemning people to further insecurity and instability.
Our community's own refugee history compels us to speak out. We've joined with @renecassin.bsky.social to call for a far more compassionate approach.

We're clear: the Government's proposed asylum reforms will only entrench division and cause serious harm. People who need the UK's protection deserve so much better.

Today, we honor the lives of people who were murdered in Pittsburgh seven years ago. We will never stop fighting to end antisemitism and create a world where all feel welcome and safe.
May the lives of those lost be for the brightest blessing ❤️🩹

As we move from Yom Kippur to Sukkot, may we continue to find strength in the values of love, compassion, and understanding – holding ourselves and each other in them.
divide us.
Our country and community have come through many difficult moments before. And while this is a painful time, we are confident that we can come through it together too.
We are still learning the facts from yesterday, but one thing is certain: we cannot allow this terrible day to divide us. We are more determined than ever to continue our work toward a welcoming, compassionate Britain. At this critical juncture, we must stand together against those who would
division spreading worldwide. Yet we also take great strength from the many touching messages of condolence and support we received yesterday from faith and community leaders. This solidarity means so much. We know that our collective humanity is far more powerful than those who seek to spread fear.
The rise of antisemitism in the UK is deeply troubling. We are sadly seeing this more and more through our work, and it is vital that the authorities continue to take our community’s concerns seriously. Amidst our grief, we recognise too that this is sadly part of a global trend, with hate and
We are shocked and heartbroken by yesterday’s horrific attack in Manchester. Our hearts go out to the Jewish community in Manchester and all those affected at this incredibly difficult time – may the memory of those killed be a blessing. We desperately hope that those injured make a full recovery.
It's crucial that we don't allow the populist & far-right to exploit our concerns about rising antisemitism.
Ahead of Yom Kippur, our Executive Director writes for @jewishnews.bsky.social on why we must continue to stand with others against divisive movements.

May 5786 bring a far sweeter, more compassionate future for all.
Such human suffering must always be condemned in the strongest possible terms.
This move from the UK government must just be a first step toward a future where all in the region can live in dignity, safety, and peace. Our elected officials must do all they can to make this vision a reality. (4/4)
We have to be frank though: while to save one life is to save the world, we know too that this programme is just a drop in the ocean of what is needed. The devastation in Gaza – from repeated forced displacement, to the collapse of the healthcare system and reported famine – is appalling. (3/4)
