Slippery snow out there folks !

Second time this week I’m sulking about the way it looks outside past 7pm.

I’ve seen enough during the daylight hours allotted to us and maybe I just want to lay in the dark with ambient lighting and wallow and watch TikToks.

Grrr, my expensive telescopic snow brush broke completely in the last snow we had.

Back to the broom for my wee arms.

I guess we get up and get to school and our various other spots.

Update: there was no property damage . I had just went off the edge of the asphalt which was quite a high edge .

I woke at 4 am this morning because I was already spiralling over something that happened yesterday and then had really weird scary dreams.

Like , visiting my aunt in a boat that was on land at an uncle’s house and it was so windy that the boat toppled over while I was inside .

Ugh lol

But I’m sure it means the houses , the village.

And sometimes there’d be commercials so long I think it was a short film .

I haven’t seen a single plow today either , saw a bus parked .

I went out for a brunch very close by with a friend and when we got out , shit was wild.

I think I drove through a ditch as I went snow blind b/c my wipers stopped working despite having cleared my car 45 seconds prior.

I’m going to have to follow up now to see if I did any property damage 🫣

It’s pretty cool there ! My daughter volunteered there for awhile before her sportsing season started and she loved it . Especially the girl goats . There’s a few very lovely cats on the farm too .

And when’s the last time besides maybe at a gathering that someone’s hung your jacket for you ?

So I forgot I even wore outerwear when I left haha . Even though I was shivering on my way to my vehicle .

I do too , so much ! I’m very happy to be reunited with these folks.

I went back today because I forgot my vest which had my AirPods in it. I needed to retrieve my earpieces lol

I forgot my vest because the gentleman of the house , gallantly checked my coat.

And the house is VERY old , on the water , probably not haunted like the rural house , and I have exactly four turns to get there lol . Right - left - right- left.

Almost exactly 30 years later , we’ve all found ourselves relatively close by in the city.

This reverse teen has started a little ritual of visiting on Sundays.

I might incorporate a Friday night in there too . They always had good music on a Friday night 💕

When I was a teen in rural NS , I really lucked out by having a really cool couple move into the really old family home across the road perched on the hill.

They had so many books. I never knew cbc radio even existed until they moved in lol . So many ghost hunts in that old house.
