Yeah notice how Apollo is just arbitrarily shifted right like 5 years

Cover of report "Mission Aborted: how NASA illegally implemented the president's budget request without congressional approval. Minority staff report, prepared by members of the committee on science, space, and technology, us house of representatives, April 2026
This report came out today by minority staff of the House science committee on how three NASA missions were aborted due to NASA illegally following the FY26 president's budget request instead of congressionally approved budget. Very important reading. đź”🧪 democrats-science.house.gov/staff-report...
Jesse Waters is wearing a blue suit while raising his his arm. The low armhole is forcing the shoulder pad to lift off his body.
James Cagney is wearing a suit while dancing. He's jumping mid-air and raising his arm. Since the armhole is cut correctly for his body, the jacket stays almost totally still, even as he's moving. He looks much more elegant than Waters in this sense.
When a jacket's armhole is too low or not properly shaped for the wearer, it can restrict movement. This can force the shoulder pad to lift off the body. Good tailoring should allow for free and comfortable movement, making the garment look natural on you.
this morning, mamdani’s team got in touch with me to float a new tax proposal: if your net worth exceeds $5 million and you dress badly, you’ll be hit with a 10% annual levy for “visual pollution.” i would be in charge of deciding if the outfits are bad.
Short term contract based hiring proves they know nothing about space development and "force" proves they have no understanding about what NASA's real mission is
Orbital view of a cloud formation over the icy north polar cap of Mars. The main cloud formation sits in the lower part of the ice cap and appears bright white, shifting to a slightly dustier tone closer to the ice cap. It resembles cirrus like clouds, formed in patches and curved bands shaped by wind. The polar cap below shows a spiral like structure, bordered by rust colored terrain with a faint hazy appearance.
CNSA’s Tianwen-1 mission has recently released new images of Mars, including this view of the north polar cap showing a very cool cloud formation.

The 'Musk used SpaceX to buy Cybertrucks' story is going around but Electrek was on this shit awhile ago! There's so much scammy shit out there in the wild about Elon and yet the markets keep floating his ass
I bring a sort of Forbidden Vibe to InternalServerError that Rate Limit Exceeded don't really like
trying to post through it rn
First, the NAACP challenged xAI's permit to build a giant, nat. gas-burning power plant in Southaven, MS. Then, they sued xAI alleging Clean Air Act violations. Now, Dem. Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse is investigating the EPA over apparent inattention to xAI's pollution. Bkgd: www.cnbc.com/2026/04/14/e...
4x4” mini painting of streaking lights in the background and a tiny astronaut hanging on to a rope tied to a spaceship
the tiniest astronaut I’ve ever painted

People today are more disconnected and lonelier than they’ve been in decades. Here in Los Angeles, our city’s design plays a role in that isolation. Sprawling neighborhoods with few ways of getting around without a car impact our relationships, our sense of community, and how we engage civically.
Elon sucks so much that he’s making people hate telescopes
JD Vance smirkily standing in front of Air Force Two. He appears to be made of wax.
on the tarred mack straight up "JD'ing it". and by "JD" haha well lets justr say. jorkin dapenits
i feel bad for our country but this is tremendous content
I’ll mostly use it as a reference for 24 hour local time + UTC bc that’s pretty common in aerospace. Shouldn’t have to toggle too much
you're telling me astronauts get to name a few small bits of the moon here and there after their loved ones simply because they "train for decades" and "undergo extreme personal risk"? unfair
The “America First,” president wants to cut billions of dollars from American innovation and scientific research.
Â
From NASA to NIH, no one would be spared.
Â
We cannot let this budget pass.

So the Hungarian opposition's big idea was Vote Harder? And they thought, what, that they could vote the fascists out?
Show this to anyone who says "What are we supposed to do, VOTE HARDER??"
One of Saturn's small inner moons from two angles. It looks like a ilttle circular ravioli or pirogi. This one is named Pan, which is also something you could cook a ravioli in.
why didn't anybody tell me that saturn has "ravioli moons"? WHY DIDN'T THEY TELL ME ABOUT THE RAVIOLI MOONS?
The fact that naval warfare exists will not diminish my love of the ocean. Nor will the words "space force" diminish my love for the stars.
I have fought capitalism here on earth, and I will fight it on the moon if I have to, but by god I will not stop reaching for the stars.
For the record I do know that a lot of people group stem stuff into one bucket called “science” however every once in a while it’s nice to complain about something dumb
Looks like Robert is listening
He and Trump are the same in that nothing outside of themselves is real or matters. Space, cars, fascism, all just ways to increase their own power and importance.
Despite Mars supposedly being the point of all he does, Musk never talks about *Mars*. No curiosity about its history, no talk about new scientific discoveries from the rovers, no sense of beauty or wonder, nothing he longs to see or experience. It's an object to use, nothing more
Really cool satellite view of the plasma streak as the crew of Integrity entered Earth's atmosphere -
