Can we ever create accessible toasts? Logical order in DOM? Time on screen and how long to display the first time you see them without user having configured time, stacking in the bottom of the screen with loss of context, screen reader, does it make sense to have a hidden notification center?

Thinking about a name for a small indie game studio!
I’d love it to make a subtle reference to dachshunds (sausage dogs) without being too obvious. Something playful or clever rather than literal.

Hornet on the platform where you fight Lace for the second time after defeating her
Finally did it!
I defeated Lace (second battle) in Silksong. I left the game during Christmas for a break, and today I finally had the time ( almost 90 minutes of attempts) to take her down!
Now I can continue with the meal prep for the week!

Totally fair concern. Being honest: I haven’t fully tested screen readers yet. I still need to get comfortable with VoiceOver on macOS and Godot. But we have AccessKit since 4.5 and that's a big step forward. I’ve heard mixed feedback from users too, so real testing will be key!
I’ve been working on accessibility for years on the web, and I’m applying the same mindset to The Runic Edda with Godot.
Extended caption descriptions and persistent battle logs are now fully implemented and working.

Started implementing rally point logic in combat!
Skills now require more strategic thinking: upgraded abilities cost more rally, but can be worth it depending on the situation. You gain rally on your turn or with perfect parries. #TheRunicEdda #Godot #CombatDesign #UI #GameDev #BuildInPublic
Added a new enemy detection scene connected with the battle manager!
Enemies now have a vision field that triggers the chase behavior in the state machine.
They’ll also respawn à la Clair Obscur — only after reaching a safe place.
