At a time when mass surveillance and autonomous weapons companies like Palantir are openly announcing their plans for violent world domination, it is crucial that our attempts at “big tech reform” don’t actually give them more power—ie via government mandated age verification/identity software
That table reflection shot is magic.
Look, for my money the absolute game changer technologies right now are batteries and biosciences, not statistically modeling a mid conversation, but you do you.
As we approach Micro May please consider just how small you’d like to make us.
Y’all we got two nuclear-hot-butt-powered cars and several assets in orbit around a planet and if you don’t think that’s the tightest shit ever than you can go and get up out of our face.
Meanwhile, on Mars…
5150 and Takanaka were some great surprises.
Awww they’re both so lovely!
You absolutely SHOULD NOT go around telling people that data centers are full of gold, silver, palladium, copper, and that the data centers are almost entirely unstaffed.
Now that we have all of our own vinyl, we need to go through the thousand or so vinyls that our Dad left us. And we need to get our turntable set up so we can start playing everything.
This is the most correct take.
Holy, holy…
Looking it up apparently Brian May watched this with his kid and it inspired him to make the mini album with friends.
The album cover for Brian May + Friend’s “Star Fleet Project”
And the final record we got today: Brian May + Friends with something called “Star Fleet Project”. It’s got Brian May, plus “Edward” Van Halen, and many other top talents of the early-80s rock landscape. Very excited to listen to it! This is an original 1983 issue!
This is also a limited release of 2000 copies, so, woohoo we got one!
The album cover for Peter Gabriel’s single “Sledgehammer”, which when examined closely reveals individual frames from the famous music video. When playing, the record’s spinning motion will crate a zoetrope.
“I WANNA BE YOUR SLEDGEHAMMER”
A friend was getting it and we went ahead and got our own copy because seeing little frames from Peter Gabriel’s music video for “Sledgehammer”, and realizing when playing it would be a zoetrope, that’s so clever! This was a Record Store Day 2026 exclusive release.
The album cover of the 1991 single “Don’t fight it, feel it” by Primal Scream.
We’re a huge fan of everything Bobby Gillespie is a part of, so Primal Scream is one of our favorite bands. It was a treat to see this, as it feels like Primal Scream is rare to find here in the US. This is an original issue 12” from the original release of “Don’t fight it, feel it” in 1991.
The album cover of The Prodigy’s “The Fat of the Land”
If you can believe it, our Dad was the one who introduced us to The Prodigy, way before people were using them in movie action scenes. Always wanted one of their albums and here we are with “The Fat of the Land” - bangers from start to finish. This is a 2020 reissue.
The album cover for a vinyl of J Dilla’s “Donuts”
J Dilla’s “Donuts”, just an unbelievable collection of some of the greatest beatmaker’s finest work. Going to put this on display right next to our CD copy of “Ruff Draft”. This appears to be a 2020 repress
The album “Music Had The Right to Children” by Boards of Canada.
Straight up: We did not have a copy of Boards of Canada’s 1998 masterpiece “Music Has the Right to Children”, so we fixed that today. This appears to be a 2018 repress.
We’re very excited for Boards of Canada’s fifth album coming out soon!
