Toast, a small ceramic head, has an orange nose and a pink mustache. He has three sticky-uppy hairs in the middle of his head, and his smallish magenta-banded top hat (which is very classy) is perched at a jaunty angle. His eyes look a little like light blue Cheerios. He is whimsical and delightful in his perfect imperfections.

Dr Alawieh is a kidney doctor who works with patients who get kidney transplants.
She trained at Yale.
She works at the VA, treating American vets.
She had a passport and visa.
And she is being detained without a lawyer.
