Ivan's family and friends are in the thoughts and prayers of all of us at Hutton CC.
5th XI Captain Alex Burton shared "Ivan took his cricket seriously and made important contributions to our games, but at the same time he was always gentle, friendly and easy-going with everyone, playing the game in the true spirit of cricket."
He also represented Essex in the county Over-60s & 70s competitions.
Ivan, pictured on the day of his taking a five wicket haul against Brentwood in the 2020 season, came to Hutton late in his cricketing career, but was always willing to play and could be relied upon to tie down an end with his nagging accuracy and command of line and length.
It is with sadness that we were informed this morning of the passing of 5th XI player Ivan Minter, who died peacefully at home recently following a battle with multiple conditions including a brain tumour.
