I usually love the Duke health system but Duke has let me down recently so UNC it is. They got in touch with me within 24hours of my referral..meanwhile it’s been 3 weeks with Duke and still no call to schedule an appointment..absolutely disappointing for such a high end medical system…😔

If I seem low on energy today, this is why..also thanks apple for calling me out for going to bed late 🤣 I actually made it through watching the whole @tarheels.bsky.social men’s bball game just for them to lose..I should’ve went to sleep like usual and maybe they would’ve won lol

Playing some Christmas music today while I work so it actually feels like Christmas Eve..first time being home for it in a few years as well as working it..very strange feeling for sure

I’m hoping they will let us get off early tomorrow but unsure as I usually do take Christmas Eve off 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

FINALLY done with doctor appointments for the year…these past 2-3 weeks have been crazy filled with them. 😒 all in all, I’m good…shouldn’t have to have anymore for 3 months ☺️

Exhausted and running on fumes..I was doing well earlier but it’s catching up to me..at least I’ve been productive..new tires, new batteries in car key fobs, and new phone. Now at mammogram appt #EarlyDetectionSavesLives

My work is having their holiday Christmas party this Friday night in Michigan. They invited remote workers to go and I declined. Needless to say they are up there dealing with snow and freezing so who is really winning here?! 🤣🤣

I can’t believe my baby boy is 11 years old today! How fitting that I got an email today of a memory of him back in 2017. The photo on the right is of him today. (My ex has him but I get updates every now and then. He was nice enough to send me a photo of him). 😍🐶🥳

Good news is that my annual review went well. It came with a title change and a pay bump 😎

Today was supposed to be a great day. It’s payday, I got my bonus, and I’m finally having my annual review after it being two months late. However, I woke up at 5AM with pure anxiety because I’m a people pleaser and I don’t know how to do anything but that so yay me 🫠🫠

I thought this year would be easier. I got my parents to agree with alternating holidays moving forward but then they come back with some guilt tripping comments..it sucks being a people pleaser for sure. I have to break at some point, right? 🤦‍♀️

I just want to enjoy the holidays without people ruining it. I legit just want to sit in a house with decorations, have some food, and spend time with family..but then comes having to spend equal time with everyone, spend as much money on them for gifts as they do for me..
