I think Rhylee was about 30 seconds away from saying "so....wanna make out?"
Fencing's been described as "3D chess played at speed," and that's made it not great as a spectator sport; just understanding the action is difficult. This visualisation technology is excellent for making it comprehensible.
Stoked to see fencing get its very own XFL.

Profile of the nose section of a B-17 bomber painted in olive drab and gray. Under the cockpit is a painting of a pinup-style lady who happens to have a guillotine for a torso. There are arms in the sleeves of a military jacket extending from the sides of the guillotine frame, one is holding an empty basket and the other is saluting. Below the hole where heads go sides wearing a short, pleated, olive drab skirt and her legs, covered in gartered nylons are curled up under her. A discarded crown is upside down behind her. In front of her across the nose is text reading ‘Maybe it will happen today’. Much of the rest of the nose is covered in mission markers but instead of bombs they are small images of guillotines.

"hornysmo" is such a beautiful word.
As Brennan laid out Purpee as a small post-agricultural town with a state university in it, I said to myself "Oh man, Brennan is going to put some New Paltz in this."
Brennan describing an NPC in the after show:
Brennan being genuinely horrified by the antics of Darkness Man and Bat Child is the highlight of any live play I've watched.

Continuing a war to save your political career isn't "normal bad ruler," it's insane war criminal shit.
Fascinating paragraph from Scott Alexander, where he admits he’s the dog that caught the car
A reminder that Jesus condemned the Pharisees for being hypocrites who made a public show of their prayers.
