The wardrobe company said they were ready to deliver 31 March. We hadn't started decorating so I said no. Asked for date after Easter. They weren't booking that far ahead. Rang 2 weeks ago and said we were ready. We were being passed to installation team. Nothing heard. Now rung twice...

Morning. Another WFH day for me. Everyone else is out all day so I'm on dog duty. Happy with that 👍 We also have the guy coming to fit the new blind in the bedroom this afternoon. Another step towards finally getting the bloody room finished. Still no sign of the wardrobes we ordered in March tho 🙄

"Rest"....today I have mowed the lawn, cut the old bedroom wardrobes into car sized pieces and done 2 trips to the dump with them and some old carpet, dug out 2 enormous sedge plants and moved about 6 other plants. Knackered is an understatement...

Decided against. Legs are not up to a 5k today and I want to ride with the bike club tomorrow so it's a no from me.

I only know the lady from the gym. No contact details. We were on adjacent treadmills a few weeks ago and she said she wanted to do her first parkrun. I said I'd do it with her. Last week she said that today was the day. Agreed to do it but haven't seen her since so don't know if she will be there 🙄

I absolutely love it. I wish I could be a designated home worker and do it full time but at least I get to do it some of the time so I'm thankful for that 👍

Morning. Just getting ready for the club bike ride. Only 3 of us out today as a couple are otherwise engaged but it's sunny, warming up and we have a café stop with pastries to die for to look forward to 👍

Already made the decision...gravel bike it is 😁 Ride leader tomorrow so I will be extra careful and alert. There's nowhere on the route that's going to cause me a problem...🤞

To be honest, I may ride the mountain bike. At least that has decent brakes on it. It's just we have a new guy coming tomorrow on his gravel bike so I wanted to ride mine as well. I'll make a decision later.

Bodged it but it'll do. I need new calipers and brake pads but I won't be able to get them until payday. I've used some old semi worn pads so at least the bike does slow down (a bit) when I pull the brake levers now...🤣

I hope I can get the brakes fixed 🤞
