I am unapologetically an appreciator of the absolute trash written by Ed Greenwood (pbuh), and recollect many passages awkwardly describing a tavern wench's heaving bosom, so I believe I can count myself an expert on traditional mantasy.

Perhaps the majority of an elderly person's fantasy literature (from the 80s and 90s). Having just come from an Indigo, I can assure you "mantasy" would definitely be a departure from what is currently the fantasy zeitgeist.

hard to find reference of those plastic 6 pack holders, which is good for wildlife I suppose, demonstrating they have been largely supplanted by cardboard. I have cut many a 6 pack girdle into strips in my time, to save the turtles.

The Castle Automatic is filled with golems who serve one of four courts: Swords, Cups, Pentacles, and Wands.

Each royal of the court was modeled by the dungeon's creator on a specific person from humanity's ancient past--a reference nobody living understands today.

Book 4 is where I finally fully separate the three main storylines into their own entries.

Patrick, Orlando and Marley each get a full stand-alone chapter and this is how I hope to continue going forward.
