It was. Fascinating and definitely challenging. I ended up eventually pulling away because I was really overextended with work and family obligations at the same time and then Covid hit, of course, and everything nonessential got back-burnered anyway.

Retired history prof here who spent about 6-7 years as a NASA-JPL Solar System Ambassador and working for a project called 100 Year Starship with Dr. Mae Jemison. It’s funny how a lot of us have gravitated towards space interests through the years. 🚀

If it’s an established author, I will always read it as a WIP. Though I admit I do have many abandoned fics that I’ve read (and re-read) and downloaded. I make up endings for them in my head. And every once in a while I even get a pleasant surprise and one is updated!

Can personally vouch for P+’s Trek offerings. So many great choices - though it’s always fun to see how high Captain Pike’s hair can go in ‘Strange New Worlds’! Seriously, that series is a indisputably worthy addition to Trek canon. ✨🖖
