The light at the end of the tunnel has finally appeared. First full night of sleep for everybody in the house in a full 7 days. Nobody had a fever this morning and the coughing is starting to subside. Gods be good we're healing. Hopefully this means I can sit down and record something for next week

I really want to sit down and do an academic reading of Hero Wars, Hero Quest, and Questworlds. I feel like there is such opportunity within this design space and being able to see it's evolution would be helpful in informing for the next iteration of design
This of course wouldn't be new territory for gloranthaphiles as they've been here before. So I guess I have a bright spark of hope that even if things get dark, the light will still shine

Dungeon Crawler Carl is almost at 6m after 2 days, this is insane. I have no experience with litrpg, but from friends I have who have read this they've been telling me that this is gonna go nuclear. Will this set a new record? Will it have longer legs than previous IP based projects like Avatar?

I definitely have a more casual and younger group overall that I’m connected to. I think more than anything Gonzo gets associated with AD&D/OSR and deadliness, so ultimately it’s just a lack of exposure. Or when they do, it’s like a DCC funnel where it’s all ratcheted up to 11
