That too, yeah. Hamfisted, half-assed. There were a few good jokes in there, but for the most part the "humor" felt like an unfunny stand-up comedian trying to drag out a single joke for as long as possible just in case there's something funny in there somewhere. Ava's collection quest made me mad.

Tina's is played entirely off the idea that you're playing the characters in the tabletop, so it makes perfect sense for how it's set up. In 3, a cutscene happens as you walk up to a character, and you cease to fucking exist, it's like some kinda wild ass magic trick. :p
Henceforth, I shall open my every argument and opinion with "As an award winning artist". Anyway, back on that story beat, and some things are starting to connect!

Great gunplay though! Marred by a feeling of absolute randomness in weapon stats. I got a gun at level 28 that I used all the way to 40 because nothing I found could compete. When I updated the level on it to 40, it doubled the already higher-than-anything-else damage. So I stopped looking at guns.
You go through the game basically being the only one powerful enough to get anything done at all, and in the end you simply vanish from existence and Lillith gets to pretend like she's the hero of the story. A story that happens around you, rather than with you. It's.. Weird. Awkward. Kinda lame.
Decided to play through Borderlands 3. Observations: This might be the first game I've ever played that made me feel like I didn't exist in the story, except as a tool to move the story forward. Soon as a cutscene happens, the player ceases to exist, never seen or talked about at all.

Should I be concerned that I only mark off two squares? :p And they aren't even bad habits, really. I just finish pieces without saving until the end because I work fast, and I never name layers cuz it takes extra time and I have to move away from the tablet to do so. I know where they are.
