Yea I try to follow independent on the ground journalists to get decent info and even then I try to get multiple people confirming stuff especially when it’s something like this. We simply don’t know one way or the other if someone got shot but many were injured severely for sure

Oh yea they would have immediately been like “here’s the footage, don’t worry yall it was a genuine mistake while our guys were attempting to beat students to death! They were only using their fists, batons and “less lethal” ammo to try to kill people we swear!”

As far as I’m aware no body cam footage has been released and I think the responsible thing to do when it comes to cops is to assume the truth is whatever the opposite of what they say it is until proven otherwise

Many protesters were taken straight to the hospital and the others are (supposedly) being treated for injuries by the jail nurses. People were absolutely hurt and there is no reason to believe one of them wasn’t shot as well
