As a Norwegian, what is happening in the US today makes me think of our on traitor Quisling. His party NS committed treason against Norway, and so is Trump and the Republican party. You cannot treat this as Jan 6th yet again and pretend nothing happened. There is a moral hazard in ignoring treason.
At the same time if Republicans are put on trial and locked up in the future, you are left with a de-facto one-party state. That will lack legitimacy. So the US due to its two-party system is in a way f*cked. Doing what must be done will look real ugly and cannot be done without a heavy hand.
Yeah I don't know how to fix this. From my viewpoint you basically got an enemy within your ranks destroying US democracy. There is no way to come back from this treating Republicans with silk gloves. They are accomplices in a demolishing of democracy and that is just straight out treason.

Similar applies to making things like comics. I suspect you need traditional artists but they will likely using AI as an enhancer. But there is not real substitute for something having a good grasp of drawing. AI Art does not fully replace that
I absolutely do think AI tools will become part of the Hollywood production process, but I don't think actors will be gone, or 3D modeling, shooting on location and so on. Rather AI will be used for specific tasks to improve the parts of the production.

AI image and video creation is amazing. I would not be doing this if I didn't think it had something going. But a lot of what we do as AI Artists is not really a replacement for traditional crafts. Given lack of precision in control it is almost like creating a dream sequence of something.
After having spent a lot of time making longer AI videos, I am increasingly skeptical that Hollywood has that much to fear. It is one thing to make a shorter impressive looking demo. It is quite another thing to create something specifically towards a particular vision.
