A large white waterfowl with orange feet stands in front of a door. On the door is a cardboard sign secured with tape that reads, "DO NOT LET THE DUCK IN." Adding insult to injury, I think the duck might be a goose.
Whatever you do,

Always have preferred 0.5 over 0.7 especially with my own poor penmanship. It gives more space between the messy lines.

I think Bluey gives its parents a lot of credit for playing along with the games with infinite patience, but they don’t get the flowers for the parents’ reaction to almost every game being “ugh no not that game” which is exactly correct.
They flew 600,000+ miles around the Moon and they landed exactly when and where engineers expected them to land.
Every day we're bombarded with all the terrible things humans are capable of doing--following this mission from launch to landing proved that humans are still capable of wonder, too.
The highest quality video of the moon was just released…
so beautiful

Heads up GitHub users. You have less than a month left to opt out of "Allow GitHub to use my data for AI model training".
"On April 24 we'll start using GitHub Copilot interaction data for AI model training unless you opt out." github.com/settings/cop...
Same with writing. Same with game design. The boring, hard work is how you learn.
Spectacular high-resolution image of our home planet viewed through the Orion Crew Module window by the Artemis II astronauts as they continue their journey to the Moon on Flight Day 2, 3 April 2026 (pic: NASA)
A full disc image of Earth, as seen from the Orion Crew Module. The planet is a pale blue, swirling with white clouds and glowing slightly lighter blue in place from reflected light. At lower left, a large brown landmass is Africa, with Spain and Portugal with twinkling lights where the planet curves. At top right, auroras glow in a thin green glow, just barely separated from the planet's surface. Earth is set against the black of space (pic: NASA/R.Wiseman)
😮 Awesome views from Day 2 of #Artemis II this morning.

I keep seeing "all authors use AI, the real issue is they're being forced to be sneaky about it" headlines.
Full stop No. This is a lie peddled for normalization. It's schoolyard-level pressure tactics "C'mon, all the cool kids are already doing it. We won't tell. It's fine. We're on your side."
And they ask why it is that late 20/early 30-somethings aren't buying "starter homes" and having kids.
A large photo on the left of a plus-sized white person wearing orange glasses, green hair, orange shirt, and meeples necklace. On the right is the DCD logo, my name Jaye Eisinger, and tagline TTRPG editor, mental health sensitivity reader, proofreader, & more. There are 4 large teal squares with white text. April reads Slot 1 (crossed out), Slot 2, and Slot 3; May has 4 slots represented, and June and July each have 3 slots. Text at the bottom reads: Rates variable based on work required & deadline. Most contracts are 1 slot; expedited rate available (less than 2 weeks from contract sign). USD & EUR accepted. Anti-AI in all forms.
A large photo of a white person wearing orange glasses, green hair, orange shirt, and holding teal dice cupped in both hands while looking at the camera. On the right is the DCD logo and the header Experienced TTRPG editor & Writer. There is a quote from a client. "Working with Jaye feels very efficient. They’re really thorough and are good at translating your ideas onto the page. It also feels efficient because no darlings are too good to kill so ideas and drafts can be suggested and shut down or accepted really smoothly."
Double Cat Design (aka my husband's design studio) is open for marketing, TTRPG editing, sensitivity reading, and more through the beginning of summer.

What’s the difference between Iran and Vietnam?
Trump had a plan to get out of Vietnam.

Indie game dev is when you, through sheer force of will and massive commitment of time and energy, create an incredible never before seen interactive experience from nothing..... so you can have like five people play it and be like "yeah that was pretty good"
You're damn right it was

If you are playing Pokopia don't sleep on the mouse mode. It really makes breaking and placing blocks a snap!
Getting calendar spam? Fix: Google Calendar → Settings → Event settings → "Add invitations to my calendar" → change to "When I respond to the invitation in email." Legit invites still work — they just wait in your email until you accept. Ten seconds. Do it now.
