This initial release focuses on respiratory tract infections, the leading source of unnecessary antibiotic use in Canadian primary care. By downloading the guidance now, clinicians can adopt best practices and take the first steps toward more effective care for their patients and local communities.
The Canadian Antibiotic Treatment Guidance, a new free resource for prescribers supported by the Public Health Agency of Canada, is now available on the Firstline platform. This guidance was developed by AMMI Canada using a rigorous, evidence-based methodology.
