Trying the new #Codex app

Thanks for creating actually useful apps with fair pricing @roehl.dev
Do you think you can get consistent results?
Giving Cursor CLI a fair shot and see how it does.
Plan, plan, plan.
Good quality agentic coding is all about planning now. Your output is as good as your plan and these days I am mostly just working on plans all day.
I might have tried but i don't exactly remember what happened there. I'll give it a shot. We also got access to Firebender this week at work so I need to try that too.
I also remember it was considerably slow and I couldn't spend more time on Junie. Cursor is something you can rely on even on a deadline and know it won't give up on a task quickly or slow down. It is less unpredictable
This was back in September, FYI. I gave Junie a problem as I'd in Cursor but it didn't spend enough time to find context and only updated one file which means I couldn't run the app. Follow up instructions made things worse as it wouldn't reference our design system and keep using Material 3.
I did. Both in Gemini and Junie. Not as good as Cursor, Claude, Codex
I am slowly moving towards more agentic workflow, which means not really using UI in Android Studio to run the apps and emulators, all from Cursor and Terminal. way faster.
I haven't opened Android Studio since Friday.
💪
App Store on web is actually usable now and a great way to research apps on desktop.

I'm an avid gh cli user and work in terminal to do clone operations. But this is still very nice to have!
Configured to automatically spawn new Zellij panes when running my own local build automations🤩
Necessary prompt for #Claude otherwise it fills the code with meta comments.
Happy Monday!
Running scripts in the background with just a shortcut using @raycast is a super power I didn't know I can have.
Generating tokens, running multi-step builds, automations without even opening a terminal window.

Started reading #Kotlin Design Patterns and Best Practices
They got balls...
Coming weeks testing our #KotlinMultiplatform project in Maestro
Fixing bugs, testings, documentation, automation for next year and then next year is here.
Real work week is here and I'm ready for it!
Congrats!
Considering getting Mastering Swift 6 book or any other recommendations?
Woah!
Holy shit
2026!
Looks awesome!
It does!
