I wonder how much of our current predicament is down to 4x strategy games being all to do with outpacing your opponent's technology gains and nothing to do with assuring civilians boats it's okay to travel through specific waterways
Kim Kitsuragi: “can you lock the fuck in”
Can’t wait to find out what this is a reference to
If a Plurb from Pluribus got Severanced from Severance, would their innie also be a Plurb?
There are going to be mass graves and people will act shocked
it says “You wouldn’t KICK a CAR”
It is a meme cartoon. An ICE agent is handing you a ticket. It says, quote: SO I JUST SHOT YOU IN YOUR CAR. Here’s why: I wanted to. End quote
This critfailmemes guy is right
Would be a bit on the nose to run BOTH concentration camps
A social media post. It reads: Kojima a real one fr. Beneath that is a post of Hideo Kojima reposting the phrase: “being trans is the most cyberpunk thing anyone can be tbh”
Kojima so real for this one #hideokojima
@fallout.bethesdastudios.com has forgotten Bluesky exists, so it has fallen on me, The Courier, to complete delivery of this first clip of Fallout Season 2 #fallout
A page of TTRPG text regarding Christian miracles in 7th century Scotland. An illustration depicts a scene of a black man (and multi-ethnic entourage) healing a red haired Pict. Below the scene, a text box explains that the Church caused many individuals to either travel to Scotland, or from Scotland to religious sites such as Rome.
X dot com interface. Thermidor @TD1794 says: “No black man was administering religious rights over the Picts. It's a fantasy constructed in the imagination of left wing fanatics and loathsome cunts like you.” 1:16 AM • 11/15/25 • 14 Views Jedi Master F'izz, our intrepid hero and patient teacher @MisterFizz says: “There were three black Popes before the time the book is set in. There are several black saints performing miracles in the Church before the book's time period in 690. Simon of Cyrene helped Jesus carry the cross, and is venerated as a saint in Eastern Orthodoxy.”
Arguing with RETVRN people on Twitter about this #TTRPG book about the picts has made me realize that "western chauvanist" types are very hostile to the history of Christianity spreading from the "darkness" of the Middle East into "white" Europe.
Yeah it’s a legitimately awesome book and I’m glad I found it! I really like the art style and the information is really good and evocative.
The picts are depicted here as white people
More picts as white people, in a pastoral scene
Darker skinned people, on a table called “TRAVELLERS FROM DISTANT SHORES”

Tom Rowsell @Tom_Rowsell • 17h Picts were not brown. Picts were not trannies. This does not help you learn about Picts. Game designers bring Scotland's mysterious Picts to life (An illustration of interesting characters) Game designers have teamed up with archaeologists to create a new illustrated guide to a mysterious early medieval Scottish society.
Jedi Master F'izz @MisterFizz •2h You guys are such fucking liars. The Picts in the book are depicted as light skinned. The only darker skinned people in the book are when the book is describing specific outsiders, ie Theodore of Tarsus. Next time try reading the fucking words (images from the book now in context)
Tom Rowsell @Tom_Rowsell • 1h the art above shows a black kid. how is that a lie>? Jedi Master F'izz @MisterFizz You're taking it out of context to try to paint the book as showing the Picts as dark skinned or trans. The book shows Picts as light skinned. This image comes from a page discussing what materials and dyes would have been available at the time, including foreign materials.
Tom: That context doesn't make it any better at all. Are you being deliberately obtuse? Can't you see the point being made? Jedi Master F'izz @MisterFizz •40m Yes, I see the point you're making - deliberately ignoring the bulk of the book's illustrations, which are full of the depictions of whiteness you guys usually love, so that you can complain that the guy who brought dyes from Turkey and Africa is too dark for your tastes.
“Carved in Stone” is a really neat #TTRPG sourcebook written by archaeologists about the Picts, a lost subculture in Scotland. Twitter is currently losing their minds about it for no good reason; my response is chronicled here. Book is from @stoutstoat.co.uk and it’s great!
It says “other guy on a zoom call: “are you using a zoom filter? It’s distracting please turn it off”. And then it says “Me:” and then there’s an image of Charlie Kirk’s wife in the heaviest makeup you’ve ever seen with big dark raccoon eyes and she’s making that Melania face that Melania makes where it’s like, lips pursed, eyes squinting, fake intensity with nothing going on

Elon musks face
"He is simply a charismatic swindler," Elon Musk said of Zohran Mamdani. "He makes so many promises, that he can never achieve. He is simply a swindler… a mars base by 2015? Cars that drive themselves? Whatever the Hyperloop was supposed to be? It's simply irresponsible to set these expectations.”
It feels weird that we’re about to be in a war with Venezuela and nobody’s talking about that
Mainstream media is too cowardly to run this headline:
