Privatisation of public services is government theft. The assets owned by us have been practically given to private enterprise who remortgage them and make huge payouts to directors and shareholders. We got no tax deduction so are now paying for them twice to satisfy the greed of vulture capitalists
It is lunacy for a country self sufficient in renewables. It will take at least a decade to build and will be designed / managed by EDF who own the UK nuclear generation industry and subsidise French consumers with their profits. It will not reduce our electricity prices
