Forbidden Planet (1956)
When I hear the upcoming Star Trek film โ.. will be completely disconnected from any previous continuity and probably feature no familiar facesโ
Regional ITV.
Should potholing be banned?
You'll only drive it underground.
Same again please, but with all of the Jessica Fletchers. โค๏ธ
Surely someone has now got to do all the regenerations of Jessica Fletcher? That would be amazing! ๐ฅฐ
we all know I have no life, so:
The image shows two tall, menacing Triffid plants standing in a garden in front of a traditional two-storey stone house. The Triffids have thick, woody bases that transition into long, pale yellowish-green stalks. These stalks curve upwards, ending in large, fleshy, orange-red flower heads that resemble ragged, open funnels. The plant on the right is significantly taller than the one on the left, reaching up towards the first-floor balcony. In the background, the house features large white-framed windows with light-coloured shutters on the ground floor. Lush green trees and foliage surround the scene, adding to the overgrown and slightly eerie atmosphere.

S3 of #TheTripods was axed in order to un-cancel Doctor Who in 85, an 18 month 'hiatus' was never the plan. DW was gone. Finito. Budget reallocated to EastEnders. But controversy erupts and must be made to go away. So a run of 25min eps of SciFi with OB for autumn Saturdays in 86 were reassigned.

Sorry, I was being dense. It goes to the bottom when I resize the window. Thanks for inventing it.
A 5" scale Wirrn action figure with larva accessory, against a background of the circular 1974-80 Doctor Who credits tunnel.
@tonybirdlondon.bsky.social Are you sitting down?
A colleague didnโt recognise me in my glasses so I tried to joke โIโm Clark Kentโ but accidentally declared โIโm Ken Clarkeโ
Oh that's good! - how do you get the remote control to appear at the bottom?
Misinformation! Ceefax is still unaffected, I'll have you know! ๐

Ceefax is temporarily off the air. It will be back as soon as possible. The Off Air slide with the 1980s Ceefax logo, this off air slide was still available right up until Ceefax demise in 2012 and was the last thing to be seen on BBC2 Northern Ireland when you paged Ceefax for the last time.
With Bluesky being awful at the moment, its a good job I have Ceefax to look at.
Wait.... what.... noooooooo!
Screen grab of an email: At an upcoming performance of Carmen on Saturday, May 16, Seattle Opera will be hosting a Furry Night with a special pre-show meet-and-greet with bass-baritone Christian Pursell, who plays Escamillo in the opera. Pursell will appear as his fursona, Chester the Geroo, and will be available for photos before the show. Although Pursell will not be in his fursuit onstage, we are encouraging audience members to attend the opera in their own costumes and fursuits, if they would like.
This amazing (real!) thing that is happening next month would make an absolutely incredible episode of Frasier
ITV was so much better when it was regional.
