Use of the passive voice is deliberate. The goal is to avoid responsibility by not naming the actor.

I worked on a lot of murder cases as a paralegal for the defense. One defendant said “the gun went off in my hand”. Perfect example. Many similar instances but that one stands out.

Not one of these people is fit to govern a state. They are a bunch of losers.

Gov. Little just threw Idaho's teachers under the bus in a most cowardly way - at 5pm on a Friday, hoping people wouldn't notice. He is indistinguishable from the extremists who took over the Idaho Republican Party.

Every Democratic legislator stood with teachers and voted against this awful bill.
