Yikes. Did I say I want him immediately suspended? No. I said the optics of negotiating a new contract for a player that has been arrested and let out on bail multiple times from different sources, look awful. Have a nice evening

We can all agree the club were in a tricky position whilst he was still under contract, but there was a lot of smoke around this, they’d have known he was being interviewed by police on multiple occasions. Talks of new deal being offered now look awful
He really was. I’ve just gone back and looked at our texts and the last pictures I sent him were of my first child being born 3m ago and his first thing back were some dad tips and fatherly advice. What a lovely person 🥹
Hi Ricky - I don’t think we’ve ever met but I knew about you from Gary. I sat behind him in B7 and we both snapped our Achilles at same time and bonded through that. My life was ultimately better for knowing him. I’m heartbroken to hear that news and hope his family are ok.
I think the ref decisions undid us almost as much as the injuries tbh due to psychology. Add 7 points to our total in January and liverpools arses would’ve gone I’m absolutely convinced.
Would love to watch those highlights again in Xhosa. Rice free kicks #shampompo
Their whole broadcast is endless rage-bait nonsense (sprinkled with a bit of rehearsed drury poetry). As a result I switch on at kick off, off at HT, on for second half and off the moment the whistle blows. I’d mute commentary if I could
I can ask pals at work if you want me to try shift for you?
Ha - my first child (daughter) born a month ago and the first game I went to was city 5-1. Didn’t think her first result would be beaten but alas!
First half of it was excellent with real suspense - feel the second half was all just a bit meh and a bit of a rushed ending.
Fair enough Paul - as a stoke city fan I’m sure you are used to seeing much better defending on the reg 🤡
I do worry they’ll come for us even harder now. I’m absolutely convinced our soft red cards this season were a “let us teach you a lesson” following the embarrassment Arteta gave them over the Newcastle desgracia last ssn
🤣🤣 I feel like that’s a Taylor made tweet for me 😂
Aw love it fella
100% - do we need to create more chances, play more risks and score more? Undeniably yes. But we shouldn’t *need* to score more than one goal in order to win every game, but such is the jeopardy of referee influence over our games that it only feels safe when we are 2 or 3 up!?
Brighton not much different today tbh. Some of their challenges were completely thuggish and Taylor waved play on continually. Your point is accurate though - it’s like they’re allowed to get away more because “they’re tough”
Great goal from martinelli but that first half performance had my eyebrows raised. He used to have fullbacks on skates every week and now it feels like I can’t remember the last time he went past his man! Hopefully the goal boosts that confidence!
Agreed. Almost like we became too reliant on him and bereft of ideas if he didn’t produce. I defo think we need an attacker in Jan though.
Timber is absolutely mustard, but white is a huge miss (especially for rotation & managing minutes!). Is there any hint of when Tomiyasu returns? Could do with him right about now!!
That’s a great point actually! How are ya Joe? (Chris L here) - only just getting onto Bluesky properly now!
Concede from their first shot, timber yellow (tightrope for 80 minutes) and we lose him for Brighton away. Not a great start to 2025 football for The Arsenal 😂
Sorry - missed this! No mate, got a laaitie due in next few weeks, so my folks are coming here rather. Might get back to durbs next year sometime
Not sure about that - think it depends on opponent and occasion! Was at the United game where it carried on into the game and it was sick - best I’d heard it I’d say!
Hey Paul - it’s Chris (from Toti!) Just on Bluesky recently - you planning on coming over this year to catch any games?
Lovely stuff mate! (it’s Chris L btw) - just got on Bluesky now!
Hall of shame stuff from Jesus today, culminating in pulling out of that challenge. Arteta prides himself in loving “duels” - can’t imagine what he must’ve thought about that!
Haha no way! Have you got a clip of this by any chance?
First Bluesky post - not a bad way to start! Set Piece FC!
Was quite a hoot that the north bank embraced each corner build up as if it were a penalty - could literally see United players jitters 🤣
