Since my plan to leave #Discord is in full swing, I see everyone talking alternatives but have you considered #IRC?
No terms of service (generally), multiple clients available to connect, and you pick your nickname as you connect. Simple.

There are significant cuts to this version of the OS, but it's out of the box ready to be used for desktop computing, unlike Internet of Things.
There's already no Store app, no Xbox, etc. It even uses the classic notepad and calculator apps from Windows 7.
Listen, if you NEED Windows like you should try LTSC. #Windows11 #Microslop #Microsoft
Long Term Servicing branch from Microsoft lets you keep updates for longer, and less risky updates. This is based on 24H2 so there is *LESS* AI.

All the "cyber truck sales" have been pre-order fulfillments. The actual cyber truck "sales" have been pretty marginal. The real number will be out soon.

@techconnectify.bsky.social I love watching your videos to escape the political nonsense and maybe learn something cool. Please keep up the good work.
What I liked was the super fast setup. Select your GPU driver and you don't have to mess with it.
I have had decent experiences with Manjaro + KDE (Arch, latest drivers).
I have tried Bazzite but I haven't enjoyed it. I'm coming into it with some preconceptions but if you learn it as your first would be solid.
Linux Mint has been good in my experience as well. KDE and Cinnamon both good.
Office and productivity tools have been in a good place on Linux for well over a decade. #LibreOffice instead of Microsoft Office, and the modern Linux kernel has many baked in drivers.

Really nice job with Vox from the design to his flaws. I love how he feels developed enough and the allegories to social media are spot on

Epic!
What would happen is it would ignore my fundamental premise and go "cast a spell to crack the earth! Apocalyptic class magic!" I kept having to tell it: "Magic is not a violation of physics but remains in the bounds"
I wanted a "magic as energy" concept that there is some theoretical energy field with the right manipulation makes things happen. Like a shortcut to electricity and fire, and it would "feel" like psionics when moving objects.
I experimented with ChatGPT in a world building exercise as deep and rich as Tolkein but no matter how often I tried to train it, it completely bungled the fundamentals so thoroughly I found it impossible to continue.
Washing? 30 minutes. Drying? Sixty minutes. Folding laundry? 7-10 business days.
Remember, ladies: if you think, "Oh, he seems nice", they ready made the perfect couple ages ago.
I received another free game on Epic Game store, but have they even gained market share? I'm seeing estimates all over the place from 6% to 15% - but it's not like it can be measured right?
I use Steam primarily and I don't actually have Epic installed anymore. What about anyone else?
I love the mystery and threat of whomever's feet those are.
