me looking at my pole self-records: oh my god my thighs are fucking huge-- (remembers the true reason I work out so much) --one leg could feed my wife for days, should we be stranded

the studio I use has chains, loads of poles, hoop and silks! we could book it for a few hours and then everyone can get some nice videos in cosplay too or just hang out and practice together! maybe ahead of Hotaru, if anyone has routines they want to practice in the costume

it was rly interesting to view mine and bestie's different skills. as a dancer they have a good knowledge of shapes and poses and flow, but i have upper body strength, grip strength and pain tolerance, so they make gorgeous routines on silks whereas all i can do is get up there LOL
back to gym after 2 week break bc of holibobs ๐ช the pole jam really was a good workout tho
last leg day before holiday, gotta make it count

I DID THE POLE HIRE i was feeling nerves like when i first started going to the gym then I remembered to do my gym stuff that makes me feel comfortable! plan and follow a workout/practice plan, track my progress, listen to my music (gym playlist), take breaks!!
oh my god it's so hard to not feel uggo when all the ppl at pole hire are like a third my size and 10 times more skilled than me ๐

we got locked out of the office where i'd left my stuff and we had to go pick up a key from a staff member who lived nearby, and overall i just felt a bit useless... i was hoping to have a smooth trip since last time i was here, rembrandt was in his last days ;; i got my stuff now so it's okay

testament to my personal growth that i don't feel all panicky after confronting him but god it would be easier just to throw the dumbell at his head lol
wishing an incredibly Die to man who threw his dumbell on the ground after every set, and when i asked him not to (bc i'm nearby) he just stared at me then went back to talking to his friend. i hope he loses all his toes and someone takes him to court

i almost burst into tears at the yoga class i did bc the teacher was knowledgeable and considerate of hypermobility and i'm still not used to it ๐ฅน
