Despite your personal feelings of successes and failures though, someone on the outside will always see your work as more than they can do. The cycle continues from there and another aspiring artist might be born or discouraged early. Please don't give up though, this is all part of the journey <3

Unfortunately It takes alot of persistence and you never quite get to the point where you feel you're "good enough" no matter how talented you get. There's always a higher bar. Best you can do is be happy with your best attempt and always try to do better and learn from your experience and mistakes

Conversely, you can also just make new OCS or alternative versions to explore those feelings. Small characters, Huge ones, different species, gender, personalities, primary colors etc. Maybe go out of your comfort zone & try some out? The Furhub world is full of bases and it might spark some ideas

It's a journey for sure. I'm enjoying exploring the possibilities of a place where I can be literally anything I want to see in the mirror. The headspace of choice unlocks things you've only felt in curiosities and sometimes it sticks. Or locks in your tastes to put away certain shapes and sizes ♥️

Nobody is above imposter syndrome either in these spaces of writing and art. You might feel like you don't belong but it's clout is really a fleeting thing. Just be people sharing ideas if that's what they're looking for. Some of the most talented people I know are introverts begging for interaction

Imagination doesn't always equal output. Ive met lots of amazing non artist clients who have vivid ideas, well thought out worlds, and a whole roster of characters that borders on Tolkien. My advice is dip your toe into the conversation and see if you can inspire one another. All experience is valid
