I believe humans have been in the Americas for over 60,000 years, lonnng before Archaeologists think, a study of dates over 20,000 years found over 400 sites. Site in San Diego found tools on a 45,000 year old Mastodon.

Chloride Ghost town is an amazing town to visit! The store from the 1890’s was closed in the 20’s, door locked, store stocked and not opened until 1986! The artifacts inside are mind blowing

It IS an amazing site, the faces are unique, the amount is crazy, great views too. Go when it’s cool out !!!!

This is also where the last of Chaco Canyon culture went when they left their home, last area before they left the San Juan river basin

Hi HIGHLY recommend visiting Three Rivers…. Over 20,000 Apache created art with faces, unusual, but plan to spend at least 2-3 hours hiking around off trail to see these beautiful examples of expression! And go when it’s cool !
