I liked the finale a good bit more than you I think, but I defintiely agree about Jett Reno (and Tig Notaro) - she was fabulous here (and through the whole season, actually)

Man, Kurn losing round one was not what I was expecting!

Oh that was quick this week!

I actually think 15 would be the perfect number in the streaming era - I feel like 10 means that you get some plot points rushed through, especially with such a large ensemble cast, it feels like it's basically impossible for them all to have meaningful story beats

And so perfect for both Actor and Character!

The series completely subverted my expectations in the best way

That was a super fun finale to #StarTrek #StarfleetAcademy - no spoilers but it avoided being too obvious. also, make sure you watch the credits, (and you'll probably want your pause button handy) - Tig Notaro's credit is my favourite

yeah the 'mystery' of S3 was a bit of a weak storyline, but I loved seeing Trek go to a new time period - it meant they could really kinda start over without having to live up to existing canon too closely

This captures her energy perfectly!

Discovery definitely started out rough. It took me 3 attempts to get through the first few episodes of S1 but I am really glad I persevered. It gave me one of my favourite Trek characters ever in Tilly (and Killy!) as well as bringing us Strange New Worlds.

I am struggling to think how they can fit all that made the book great into a movie length - Though they have already spoiled a lot of the big reveals

Man the Project Hail Mary trailers spoiled alllll the stuff. I understand you gotta put bums in seats but half the fun is discovering the (probably 2 major) twists along the way #ProjectHailMary - That said will almost certainly still watch it

107 of #StarfleetAcademy felt like a breather episode after the turmoil of last week, but it had some really interesting character development

SNW is that for me, but this is running it DAMN close - I fucking love Holly Hunter in it, and all the 'kids' are so good!
