I'm wondering if it's a haunting...😉

If the organisers of this had any nous, they would choose very carefully the verses he gets to read.
Wes Streeting seems to think that everything can be solved by tech and reducing doctors' training places so I suspect he is just banking on fewer older and infirm people surviving.
We had our basement & kitchen redone 4 years ago as the start of a redecorating blitz. We've hardly done anything since as we're still recovering from it.
I had to look them up. Apparently they were Spanish. Obviously Brexit will have seen them off.
As if there isn't already enough tragedy and unrest in Africa, in particular.
And where will those fleeing the starvation and conflict go, now that the West has reduced or taken away so much foreign aid?
...ah, but then how do you get rid of 'the great smell of Brut'!
Our dog died 5 years ago. Since he went, the carpets have been cleaned and we have done quite a bit of redecorating, but every now and then his distinctive old dog aroma seems to re-emerge. It's really peculiar.
Is there no end to the things that Gavin Williamson cannot do?
What even was that?! My kids wouldn't believe it existed.
This is one of those Hitchhiker's Guide moments when you wish you had a towel with you...
“over-50s with a musculoskeletal problem” hits the nail on the head. You are told you are low NHS priority. Personal experience...a year before you get put on a waiting list for surgery, then a year's waiting for surgery. Friends have waited 5 years for back & knee surgery. NHS waiting is disabling
Ah, that is lovely. Most of my trips up to town seem to have a view that is mostly new tower blocks and diseased buddleia!
Maybe I need to go the opposite way!
NOT SO FUN FACT—half of all U.S. war casualties during WWI were due to influenza. Today—Trump’s War Secretary remove the flu vaccine requirement for all U.S. military. Plus, bragging about this to all enemies is just absolute idiocy. www.washingtonpost.com/national-sec...
"The Shadow Contract investigates how one of the most powerful surveillance companies in the world is being handed sweeping access to your NHS data - quietly and without your consent."

Well, I suppose a price rise is more acceptable than reducing the size, like they do with chocolate bars.
Does this mean that eventually every Meta AI system will spend its day looking at property porn on Zoopla and liking videos of cats doing funny things?
The Iranian used of social media and memes is phenomenal.
Another cracker.
Horrendous - but neccessary - understanding of the impact bad temporary accomodation can have on our children. Linked to the deaths of 104 children over the past 6 years, 76 of them babies.

In 1937 Bliss established the Blackheath Society, which continues today to protect and preserve our south-east London urban environment.
Sadly, the days of our railways being surrounded by lush grassy banks are long gone!
xAI promised to cut “whatever was unnecessary” to make delivery of AI as efficient + cost-effective as possible
Apparently, people's drinking water is considered "unnecessary"
In the billionaire mindset, people's survival is secondary to relentless pursuit of profit
👏👏👏
So if the US puts boots on the ground in Iran, a quick spraying with the flu virus should give Iran a quick win.
Exactly. If £40m is going to the charity trust, the priority should be to spend it on things that make the lives of the least advantaged better, not lauding the spoilt and over-privileged.
This new statue of the Queen in St James's Park is being managed by Queen Elizabeth Memorial Committee. There will also be a statue of Prince Philip and cast-glass bridge inspired by Queen Mary’s Fringe Tiara. The Government is providing a one-off £40 million endowment to the Queen Elizabeth Trust 🤷♀️
Yeah...add to the list of totally dodgy people and companies that this government has given a critical role to.
The bad judgement of Starmer and his cabinet does not stop with the likes of Mandelson. His clients Palentir need to be sacked, too.
Robbins had his Union man, Dave Penman, sat right behind him, nodding vociferously. I doubt we have heard the last of this. I hope he takes them to the cleaners. I'm guessing Downing Street thought the Civil Service Code would stop too much coming out, but the questions were all well phrased.
Starmer created this crisis by sacking a qualified and competent woman.
And when he sacked career diplomat Karen Pierce to give Mandelson her job, SIX other senior women diplomats left FCDO as their careers were doomed under his government.
He's done far worse, but I'm fine if this does for him.
Yeah...one Starmer/McSweeney appointment with paedophile links is problematic. Two is just just beyond the pale.
This is all so shameful from Starmer. No respect for the victims of these revolting people.
