Now that you mention how "on the nose" it is, I remember it literally has a level that just straight up grabs the idea from Stop & Go Station from DKC1 lol.
"Unfair"? Nah, I wouldn't go that far. At least from my point of view anyway. Going for the 100% had its moments of definite challenge, but nothing that couldn't be overcome with persistence.
And for what it's worth, I had fun nearly the entire time I was trying lol.
I second what Matt said! I don't 100% a ton of games, but loved Kaze so much I went ahead & did so. *Excellent* DKC type game.
Bro, the ending got me right in the feels so bad the first time I played I legit cried. Such a heartfelt story through & through.
I gotta eventually replay GOTY Edition so I can try that DLC!
"CRIME TOWN!"
Not even Chris Pratt would want eight of the same toys promoting his character lol.
Heck yeah! Continuing to wish you the best!
This is huge, bud! Sorry it took me a while to catch this update. Hope it all goes well for you!
Enjoy, my guy! I've heard good things.
MOUSE: P.I. for Hire promo art
Haven't bought a new game in a lukewarm minute.
Think I'm gonna go with the recent MOUSE: P.I. For Hire.
I love how much love you give fangames. Just sayin'.

GAMECUBE
I'm actually not... particularly sure how to do that in SMBX2 yet lol. Been a while since I messed with it. But perhaps one of these times I do, I'll learn how to export & such!
That's totally fair -- I know the actual level creation stuff isn't necessarily everyone's bag, but man, it just puts me right into a zen. Idk how else to describe it. Level editors in general are one of my personal favorite creative outlets.
It would make us all smile at least once to hear the Smash Bros announcer shout "Hamburger Helper's Helping Hand!!", right?
Some retro games going on a newly built shelving unit
A fairly decent downsizing of my retro game collection has begun. I'm definitely not parting with everything, but I wanted to start prioritizing keeping titles that mean a little more to me.
Having a bunch was cool, sure, but I find narrowing it down to more sentimental stuff could be neat too.
Yes!! I have *sworn* by this fangame for years now. So robust & fleshed out. Super fun to just zen out & make custom levels, at least for me, but then again I'm a complete sucker for level editors in general.
Super Mario World (1990)
This one's been on my radar for a while. Think I may pull the trigger on it this week if the reviews hold up.
Then the person next to them chimes in & says "And what if they were invincible too?"
Then those experts should've examined my brain when all those music references in the soundtrack were firing synapses in my brain left & right. Surely that counts as "thought provoking", yeah? lol.
It's pretty wild that a movie like this can't come out without at least *someone* going on about the end of cinema or something.
Heaven forbid someone puts out a movie that's just fun every once in a while.
Thanks, my guy. I'll take any moments of little bits of happiness lately, lemme tell ya.
Sister came to town & we saw The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.
I particularly appreciated the Easter eggs throughout the soundtrack this time, Luigi got way more screen time and Yoshi's inclusion was a plus. A little messy plot-wise, but it was still plenty of fun, which was all I could ask for, really.
Nicely done ๐
I've heard good things about Replaylee as well; I'm thinking I should finally sit down & try that version one of these days.
This was fun to 100% again for the first time in a long time. I'm finding myself much more appreciative of Playtonic's first title. This was a work of passion by a shoestring staff putting their all into making a Rare-esque collectathon platformer, and they honestly succeeded on many counts.
Looks great! ๐

Those Mario Land 1 & 2 tunes get stuck in my head something fierce lol. Nicely played ๐
