Yes - and the entire article was pointing out "soon".

Not at the commercial quantities required today or tomorrow or next week or next year. Probably not next decade.

That article agree with me. It says it right there multiple times.

Yeah, "it can't be replaced *YET*"

You won't find anyone in the world who can find their arse with a map that says differently.

It's absolutely true. People in that sphere - both creators and consumers - just don't like to accept it. Which is a tale as old as media itself. It's also why Australia is why it is.

Tammy Hembrow - who is apparently a real person - reaches far more than that. And life goes on

It's like a pie broken down to their individual taste components.

Yep - that's salt.
Yep - that's fat.
Yep - that's some sort of mostly carnivorous filling
Yep - that's pepper

Its not about partisan political leanings, but understanding the things he's actually talking about - but again, he's just today's version of an opinion columnist. More power to him, condolences to those who treat it anything other than entertainment.

Before her time

One Nation was deliberately created out of Tony Abbott's office, trying to exploit Hanson to create a Greens of the non-Liberal right with similar high preference flows, but control was lost almost before it started, because everyone involved was a gigantic dickhead operating beyond their station.

An opinion columnist - like they've always existed - only the medium has changed

I find him no different from asking a bloke at the pub who reads the paper everyday.

Lol.

Text based things are a little different. They are dangerous in different ways. There's an interesting paper coming out soon that demonstrates 3 hours of text based social media use has almost identical cognitive effects of mild lead poisoning

More power to his accuracy on that

Out is paddock-to-plate, in is suburban scalp-to-salon in a new interpretation of the Running Man genre

Most resource taxes in Australia are too smart by half. You either charge them for the product (the resources) like beef producers do to McDonalds, or profit/equity share. Everything else ends up being a pisstake

It seems to confine their understanding and engagement with the world in very strict, organised, and ordered terms from experience - but the world, and the substance and nature of politics particularly - is a lot messier, and a lot more human

Long running reminder that lawyers who have practiced in court make for bad politicians and worse political leaders.

The FBI guy is on a paranoid bender and won’t leave his room.

The War guy quotes bible passages from Pulp Fiction.

The Health guy collects raccoon dicks.

It’s an Idiocracy on steroids.

I do those with a nice piece of fish - a little pan sauce of anchovies, garlic, capers, chili, parsley, diced tomato and lemon - with a dollop of olive oil and butter to emulsify it. Fennel seeds too if its a thick piece of barra.
