I think the only thing I'd like to see is more stuff to do in Ice phase other than "swiftly recover MP and go back to Fire".

Weapons would be a one-handed sword, but the schtick is that you enchant it with various magic.

I think one of the funniest things about the Arcadion questline is that no one involved really knows just who you are. They all act like you're just an upstart adventurer and meanwhile you've gone to the literal ends of the universe and fought the manifestation of despair itself.

Tataru is autistic. I'm not sure how to elaborate other than "she's got several traits that resonate with me". (Also she strongly reminds me of an individual I know who was autistic, an excellent judge of character, and taught themselves sewing and excelled at it.)
Rhea absolutely knows about Azem. After meeting Emet-Selch, she began having dreams of their past life together. (This was one of a few factors that culminated in her having an affair with him.) The more she hears about Azem, the more she wonders if she was ever her own person in Emet's eyes.
The mindset of "it's in the live letter, it's not spoiling" might be my absolute least favorite thing about the FFXIV community, and considering who I specifically am, that's saying a lot
"Set Fire to the Rain" is a good one for Emet-Selch and Rhea and how badly that fallout went. (Don't ever sleep with your enemy, y'all. You can't fix him.)

imagine making four major characters and three of them get killed by another writer but you manage to put the fourth one in a box that you don't open until you're lead writer and now the boy is practically immortal.
A hill I will absolutely die on is that while the Crystal Braves storyline facilitated necessary character development for Alphinaud, it required every single adult involved to firmly grasp the Idiot Ball. It's ridiculous that none of the GC leaders or the Scions went "Isn't this a bad idea?"
