This. Clearly she thinks that the AI output the expect wont be “slop”. Missing the whole point that Gamers don’t want gen AI at all, slop or otherwise.
Also, how resource intensive will this be in the middle of a RAM shortage? Gamers want less crap on their consoles so they can get the most out of their games. They dont want to play on 30fps because Copilot is waiting for a question that will never come.
The mass exodus of players will resonate throughout the industry and scare off the other platforms.
The only thing I’d want to use AI for would be game recommendations based on games I like. But that really doesn’t need to be on the console. I could ask my phone or desktop for that.
If Gamers don’t want more of this, then I would recommend boycotting your XBox for an extended period when this finally launches. The signal needs to be loud and clear like NFTs, otherwise all platforms will follow suit. Play a different console OR disconnect from the internet if you must play.
Pleseantly surprised. I was in the “why does this exist?” crowd. But they proved why: its great Star Trek.

Even if FRLG hadn’t leaked, its still just a port. Cool, but not worthy of carrying the anniversary on its own. Its needed to be a new remake, Ultra Fire Red or something. I’d grade it a C- as they did the bare minimum for a Pokemon Showcase.

That Pokemon presentation was exactly what I expected. Underwhelming and no different to any other year. Why do franchises fumble their anniversaries so bad? Gen10 not being ready is fine, but announce a movie, a new type of pokemon game, something more than ports, existing game events and updates.
I don’t post much anymore because I barely got any “engagement”. It felt like I am talking into a void. Both on bsky and the other place. So its mostly a reading platform for me.

The fact that its the year 2026, and we have had shows like Smallville, Arrow, Flash, Supergirl, Gotham, Pennyworth, Titans, Penguin, and even Batwoman, yet we haven’t had a proper week to week serialised Batman show in decades is insane!

I was a doubter of #StarTrek #StarfleetAcademy, I didn’t see the need, nor did I like the setting. But this weeks episode, #VoxInExcelsio, has to be one of the best episodes of Trek in a while. It answered some interesting questions, and resolved the episode in a powerful way. This is Star Trek.

When PlayStation drops new PS5 plates, do still support the launch PS5? I love the new red and black plates but I’m afraid to find out that being an early adopter of their console has locked me out of good plates.
Also, very disappointed with how few official plates we’ve gotten over the years.
