% of RP fastballs 95 MPH+
Mets 17%
Twins 17%
[avg 45%]
Marlins 68%
Rockies 71%
That's .. a pretty large gap.

The day Soto returns from a calf injury, Lindor leaves the game with the same injury. You can't make this shit up. Mets are gonna end up paying $360m for a great draft pick.
Lindor grimacing rounding the bases. Completely expected on the night Soto comes back. Left dugout with the trainer.
Takes Harold about a minute into the show to say his first stupid thing. Lauer's ERA was over 7 because they used an opener in front of him.
I've taken calls. I've made calls. I've ignored calls. WTF is "hosting"?
What happened to no men in women's sports?
I wonder if they think Dollander is good now BECAUSE they're giving him an opener or are actually going to let him start his own games soon.
"...the Mets have gone from being the fifth-best team in 2025 at not offering at out-of-zone pitches (26.3%) to the fourth worst (32.2%)"
Mets fixed some shit that wasn't broken.

Seriously, something good appears to be happening and all we think is how are they going to manage to F this up?
Normal fan: Wow, McLain's got dominant stuff. He might do something special tonight. This is fun!
Mets fan: There's no way they're winning this game for him.
Nothing excites a baseball announcer more than a hitter throwing the bat at a pitch nearly a foot outside and blooping it in for a hit. Damn, that's good hitting. He's using the whole field!
Did NBC buy the rights to Sunday night MLB just to take it off TV?
Lindor just said the word execution so many times that it's starting to sound like a good idea.
Conforto with the game tying hit, PCA with the winning run...#METSWIN
But seriously, why didn't they walk Hoerner if he's so hard to strike out?
They told us Williams wasn't sharp last time out because it wasn't a save situation. They must not have told him the score this time.
SNY 1st inning:
- Myers is opening because Hoerner is 4 for 5 against Peterson.
- Bichette is finally getting going because he's got a modest 4 game hitting streak. They then mention he is 2 for 9 in this series just before striking out.
- Assad is a good pitcher no matter what analytics say.
Finally living up to that top prospect hype.
Senga four starts: 97.4 mph, 96, 95.6, 95.5. He averaged 95.7 his first year with the Mets so that first game jump was probably a fluke. Do want to note he's pitched with 15 mph winds out to left in each of last two starts.
Did SNL's Bill Hader's Stefon write this?
Come join the suckage Devin Williams.
Maybe Luzardo shows up once every four years, like leap year.
Mets shoulda traded for this Nimmo fella this past off-season.

Playing the part of Ryan Helsley for the Mets this year...
Hard to understand discussion about Lindor being chase happy without Soto behind him cause he thinks he has to do more with Soto out. Just always be the version of yourself that makes you the best player. Take the same ABs either way. More likely he's not fully healed from the hand injury.
Senga velo by game:
97.4, 96, 95.7
We'll see
Pretty surprised to see almost every catcher from last night also playing early games today. Do they not do that day game off after a night game for them anymore?
What was last year's cancer?
