Keith Lemcke (recently & formerly of Siebel) joined the guild listserv and started emailing a couple times a week and everything is always delightful. Here's a paper regarding caution in "Serving NA beer on draught"

"can we recycle this Philsner Raquel and Augushtin Buttmuncher cardboard on top of da fridge?
we have weekly cafe notes that help me plan out the week: items/events/curation. There's a little numbers blurb with on how many package items sold in a week. Last week was a perfect 21.125 cases so I'm going to start looking up the vulgar factions and insert those for my own entertainment. 21⅛
Newsletter, discussing fresh cask with the original cascade, milktube madness, and our triple point pick of the week!

The distro has 53 kegs of GREEN Lite at the top of this week and I am generally interested in how and who's dosing those kegs. Distro? dose a little vial from the gas port on a coupler?
It’s with excitement that we announce Maplewood Brewery & Distillery and Half Acre Beer Co will join together to create a premier Chicago beverage company. We combine as individually strong, complementary businesses that share similar visions for the future of our industry and city.
i've set a mini goal to add more of the instructional Lukr content and specialty faucets to the company youtube, and hosted on the website. I dug this one from Aug 2023 on assembling the Lukr Nostalgie side pull model. Need to cut together the Baroko version.

I feel like I might have missed some.
Lots of Baltic type darks too. Grodziskie is common here! The rivers aren't flowing with it. but Sketchbook won the Sam Adams Brwing the American Dream with Grodziskie when first getting started.
Pulaski Day!
I think there's an unsung amount of Polish Light Lagers made by Chicagoland breweries.
One Trick Pony Busia Rose
Maplewood Pulaski & Cashmere Pulaski
Marz Chicagoland
Hopewell Zimne
Rev+Moors Moorvolution
Phase Three Polish Pils
Goldfinger Polish Pils (a series)
Argus Paschke
I marketed Revolution Straight Jacket as the first time barleywine was served on Lukr side pull. in the Midwest anyway.
Jim was very pleased to have Pragueress on side pull, and thanked us for taking care of his beer so well. That meant a lot. It's on draft currently!
Ranking 1st at 17.9% is Double Barrel VSOD 2023/Rev/L/BA Stout, on for 25 days 2023-11-09 through 12-03. Part of a Deep Woods preview party along with Ryeway to Heaven, Deth by Cherries, Cold Time, plus Pragueress Czech Dark and Straight Jacket on Lukr side pull.
Ranking 2nd at 16.6% is On & On Part 3/Rev+Half Acre/L/BA Stout-Barleywine Blend. 49 days on tap 2024-02-15 thru 04-03. @halfacrebeer.bsky.social
On & On is a bit of an extension to our first ranked option:
Ranking 3rd at 15.6% is Mehndi 2023/More/L/BA Stout
30 days on tap, 2024-05-31 to 06-29.
The 2023 FOBAB Best of Show Runner Up and part of a brewery tap feature with Villa Pils on Lukr side pull.
Michael asks: "What is the highest ABV you've had on draft?" Dive into the spreadsheet.
We'll search [/BA ] which gives us 45 barrel aged offerings across 1874 kegs kicked (2.4%). I'm assuming it has to be one of those since ABV isn't tracked. Then we'll look em up manually.

Hot pokin beers for five years. It's an August Schells thing, and why it's today at 4pm and not in Fall. Bock! Doppelbock! #bierstacheln #beerpoking
Whiner youtube channel describing their brewhouse and equipment which is being put on auction soon (ends Mar 4). www.youtube.com/@Whinerbeerb...
This is my only chance to feature Alarmist beer on Lukr. Their distributor really only ever had this beer for draft, and this sixtel is dated to October. Alarmist has had Lukr side pulls since 2019-10-12, easily in the first 10 across Chicagoland.
We'd have three breweries on draft that have closed.
Schneeeule Kennedy / Berliner Weiss
Miskatonic West Coast Wizard / IPA
And here, Alarmist Le Jus on Lukr side pull.
@notchbrewing.bsky.social hit a Sharp Pour of Tomodachi on a IG story back in Dec. About died when I opened up the app and saw that. www.instagram.com/p/DR99JD6kdO...
Human Robot, a brewery in Philadelphia and inventor of the Milktube, has shown a Japanese-style Sharp Pour. Extra breakout on the first step, but it's incredibly cool to see these breweries break out this service. I looked at them to learn the Lukr side pull.

swing in whenever!
I'm sure I could put together a list of the specialty pour shops in Japan just by trying to recreate individual pours. Specialty service still looks small portion of general drinking culture at large, which sounds right. But influential on the whole
Nada Hall opened around 1947-1948 serving hot sake but added a second section in 1949 serving draft beer, Nada Columbia. Whole space was rebranded Nada Columbia around 1963, closed March 27 1998. Matsuo joined about 1981 and opened Bier Reise '98 on May 11 1998.
České Švýcarsko is apparently a national park I found by just searching Czech Switzerland. And a call back to one of our first Lukr features, Roaring Table Pilsner (which became Concordance) and Phase Three P3 American Pils. July 18 2021. A early and rough hladinka here in the British mug here.
Tonight for #EatDrinkHighwood we have Czech Service by way of our own Bohemian Switzerland. Our two Lake Zurich breweries Roaring Table providing Pale Lager and Phase Three with a nice Dark Lager.
Phil with a nice little video cap here. Our extra racks of Praha in the back left!
We're in our chamber's Restaurant Week: Eat. Drink. Highwood.
Each day is a special beer service. Wed broke out the ice chilled beer lines for 1960s era Japanese beer service and the standing bar.

15.5 gal = ~293.37 200 ml stanges at 0% waste.
Do I really think we're going to kick that keg 5-9p?
73.34 glasses per hour? 1.22 glasses per minute?
