I hope MRU will examine their response. A description of a person via non-urgent email (that went to my “updates” folder) followed by another email directing people to shelter in place FORTY minutes later is 😬😳. Even if it’s a false alarm—ring the alarm!

This baseball game has lasted longer than debate on Bill 2. #ABleg

Where's the premier while MLAs rush through an all-night debate on stripping Albertans of their Charter rights?

An airport lounge, waiting for a flight to Saudi Arabia. She didn't even bother to show up for the vote.

I remember when conservatives turfed premiers for this level of hubris.

I noticed that, too. It’s not a stillborn because the baby was born alive, but it was killed by measles :(.

They don’t treat the diseases, either.

I love J. Herbin’s “Bleu Calanque.”

When you’re doing worse than India on any public heath measure . . . yikes 😳

I teach first-year university writing classes, and I have returned to in-class writing assignments. I notice real improvement over the course of the semester.

In my experience it’s just racism. I’ve been in lots of conversations where people said things I objected to about immigrants, and when I point out that I am an immigrant (brought to Canada at age 3 by my parents), they always say something like “oh, no I didn’t mean like you.”

Wow, 394 pages! That’s good reading—shout out to buddy on page 12, who I believe speaks for the majority: “leave it the fuck alone you stupid morons!” 😂.

Agreed. They are just creating larger and larger cracks in the system for people to fall through so that desperate, sick people will gladly accept private healthcare because it’s the “better” option in their small town.

I would still REALLY love to read the results of the public engagement sessions on the new curriculum that the UCP buried. The session I attended was scathing. There was a moderator and a scribe—I know those notes are somewhere!

Totally. McDavid sounded like he was going to cry, Drai a poor loser, and Skinner a very seasoned professional.

That was my immediate thought—they know damn well the “official” numbers are just those who chose to have contact with the medical system. I bet that behind the scenes public health is FREAKING THE FUCK OUT.

A couple of weeks after being elected he approved a $140 plan that had been scrapped for a decade to raise Buffalo lake and build a recreation/ camping/provincial park there. Conveniently, he also bought a house in the lake.

Don Getty did the exact same thing in the exact same riding. Weeks after winning, he and Ralph Klein (the environment minister at the time, LOL) made it RAIN in that riding. They raised an entire lake, spent $100 million dollars.

Oh, I know. I grew up in Fed Deer and know Stettler well :(. Don Getty also parachuted into that riding.

I’ve been looking for a new TWSBI, my favourite colour is blue, and my birthday is in May (making me a Gemini). Coincidence? I think not. #fountainpen

I can’t wait for this one to bite them in the ass. The anti-coal referendum will be so easy to pass it’s not even funny.
