Experimenting with background. The black board offers clearer contrast and shows the model more clearly; the white one seems softer and catches more gentle shadow. I think I prefer the white.

As previously threatened, I remade this model in A3. Scaling up allowed me the leeway to bezier-distort the entire thing toward the small side, so that the blocks also get narrower toward the point, and wider on the fat edge. I like it much better this way.
I took the last model and mounted it flat. could have made the edges rectilinear, but the model squooshed more naturally this way, and I like the symmetry. #ullagami #kirigami #origamicarchitecture #popup #origami #papercraft #mathart #paper
