Totally. When I think of all the AOTY lists I saw this on, often at the top…it was a lame herd mentality thing and what instigated the stampede was not that the album was actually good 😂

The Fanfare Around the Band Geese Actually Was a Psyop The Brooklyn band Geese was labeled an “industry plant” by those who questioned its sudden ubiquity. Maybe it was.

I never understood the love for Geese’s “Getting Killed”…I didn’t care for it at all. Now I’m feeling quite smug about that 😂

Well the #AXPONA26 high-end audio show day 1 was interesting…8’ tall speakers…subwoofers larger than refrigerators…two current-production reel-to-reel decks…and lots of one-note-per-minute jazz being played 😂 Still, fun as always! Back for more today.
