one last thing i hope u will consider: when a joke has a connection to a peoples who are being vocal to you about their discomfort with it, maybe being more empathetic to that would be good. repeatedly telling me it's a joke is pretty dismissive of my concerns cuz you don't see it as serious as i do

so many BIPOC queer i've talked to have put their queer identities on the back burner because of how much more of a struggle it is to deal with racism.

being trans has always been a cake walk for me in comparison lol.

i could go awn about it forever but white queer spaces are not safe for BIPOC/BIPOC queers. a lot of white queer allyship is slogans in bio with minimal understanding of the meanings.

i don't agree that this is a joke with a majority white audience. they won't understand how it is over the top. they will agree with this as an actual fact because a lot of folks dont know the connections horses have to Indigenous people.

i can see ur other posts as jokes cuz they are more obviously over the top, but this reads as something real i could see someone saying. considering the context of horses being used as a colonial tool.

i mean with horses my tribe became one of the strongest forces against colonizers and are very entwined with a lot of Native cultures 🤷🏽‍♂️ sure they brought bad but without them, itd have been a lot worse for Indigenous communities, considering colonizers brought guns amongst many other horrible things
