backstory: I binged on like 3 large bottles of rum and quit cold turkey, my gf was able to take care of me day 1 but after the withdrawals progressed i started having severe hallucinations and delusions. I also hadnt slept for 3 straight days due to insomnia, and eventually seized.

I went to a Some Kings protest and it was immediately apparent that nothing would come of it. I learned a lot from that experience and I can only hope others do the same. I don’t think these protests are a bad thing overall but you are by no means part of any meaningful resistance.
your protest resulting in zero arrests is not a good sign. cops are ALWAYS the enemy and if they don’t see your movement as a threat then it’s nothing but controlled opposition.
