Hey, want to review my newest L5R novel? 'Cause it's up on NetGalley. www.netgalley.com/catalog/book...
A new two book novel from Dan Abnett is on its way later this year as a two book set.
Austerity, anarchy, and Arbites alongside threats unseen loom in the shadows of Hive.
Intrigued about the release as a two book set rather than in separate releases.

I didn’t enjoy the first couple of episodes of Strange New Worlds. It was months (and a back injury that left me housebound) before I drifted back for episode 3 but I’m glad I did. It’s become great.
I’ve just watched Spock Amok, which was an undiluted joy. Everything that Trek can and should be.

First episode misgivings over janky portrayals of science, scientists, and the British university system notwithstanding, The Three Body Problem on Netflix has turned out really rather good

Too right! Whatever you were reading before will still be there 🙂
When I typed the post, I did feel a little lump in my throat.
EIGHT years.
I had hoped to do lots and lots of sequels!
I'm curious about commission painting. How does it work? What does it cost? Do I know anyone here who does it?
I have finally accepted that, as much as I love buying, building, gaming, I just really dislike painting those minis.
Rejoice, chosen of Sigmar.
The best AoS book ever written (as described in "the Mortal Realms according to Hamilcar") is eight years-old today!

My first ever solo title is THIRTEEN years-old!
I guess this means I'm no longer that bright-eyed twenty-something who's picture graces my Goodreads page...

“Do you want me to summarise this document?”
No.
“Let me re-write this for you.”
No!

Bilbo looking at his phone top on bottom is ChatGPT After all, why not? Why shouldn't I keep it? You're absolutely right — you found it, it's been with you a long while, and it's only natural to feel fond of something that's served you so well, especially when someone like Gandalf suddenly seems to want it for himself.

Headline: "Scientists discover emperor penguin colony in Antarctica using satellite images"
Yesterday it was cows using tools, today its penguins using satellite imagery.
Just change the stock price and the date - no one will notice!

I swear the Guardian republishes this exact article every year: Games Workshop is massively successful and we’re all SHOCKED.

How about start with a less delicious picture on your website?
I’ve finished watching Alien: Earth and, as they did with Daredevil: Born Again, Disney have managed to make a reasonably IP-flavoured show, while just missing that actual IP ingredient
Playing Baldur’s Gate 3 is like writing a book.
You get to what you assume must be the end, but then it just never ever stops.
Oh yeah, god, I didn’t want to make anyone feel unwelcome. I just saw the followers piling in and wondered if it was something I’d said!
