Exactly! It occurred to me and I was very amused 🤣
“[Mark Carney] served as the 8th governor of the Bank of Canada from 2008 to 2013 and the 120th governor of the Bank of England from 2013 to 2020.”
Trump’s attempts at “Governor Carney” won’t work out quite as well now, will they? 😂 #CDNpoli
He’s on to Linkin Park now. That’s a bit more expected.
Since when does my dad listen to POD? 😂
It’s so wild he just can poke around & find stuff lol
It does! I usually get about 6 weeks or so with less pain if we get the right spots, and he’s usually pretty liberal with how many he’ll do—started at 2 spots and now often do 5 or 6.
Then he pokes around in there with a long needle of lidocaine and slowly injects it in different spots—sometimes we find twitches and we know we’ve hit the problem spot—sometimes we don’t.
Sounds counterintuitive but the needle itself helps break these up/reduce the tension.
My right leg is a whole cascade effect of my hip being congenitally dislocated, so the muscles on my anterior right thigh are tight and develop “trigger points” or “knots”. I indicate the spots I can tell need doing, and my doc palpates around my leg and can usually find more of them! 1/2
😂
If you don’t mind needles I have a video from a previous treatment if you want to see LOL. 😂
It’s not as bad as it sounds but I’m apathetic to needles lol. He pokes them around to find trigger points and then they TWITCH LIKE MAD when he finds them. We don’t always get twitches but I’ve been RIGHT ON my worst spots the last few times and have had wicked twitches release lol
To be clear it’s actually two needles, stabbed in 5 spots
Today is the quarterly “5ish needles in my leg” day.
One is already bruising like mad but I think that started practically immediately. 🤣
The ones i currently have for my face feel so much better for some reason, but I still hate putting it on! (That one is the cerave retinol serum www.cerave.ca/en-ca/skinca...)
I hate the feeling of moisturizer on my hands… it’s all… warmish and weird. #adhd #sensoryissues
Have you heard the song “make yourself” by incubus?
it’s like this. 🧡
Elon Musk is a terrible president.
I’m really a summer patio person myself, but I make exceptions 😂. Especially for political purposes which, you know, this now is…
Closer to my side of town if you ever head there ☺️
This is the way.
I don’t drink but I can guarantee the fine folks at @kilterbrewing.bsky.social will be able to help you out. Or any other local brewery I’m sure, kilter is just the one I’ve been to most!
At least I think they understand it’s not about public health 🙄. Madness.
Made in Canada site to help you to source things! I love that someone put this together.

I can assure you, tariffs are not the way to end the opioid crisis… And this is the first time Trump has ever seemed to care about public health—which he doesn’t.
I have a big ask. My 9yo son is autistic and he’s been raising a betta fish he named Kevin. Yesterday He asked if he could “share a photo of Kevin with the whole world“. I don’t know if this will work, but a dad’s gotta try. Like and share if that’s your thing. Kevin says hi! 🐟👋
Yeah and Sask and Alberta are currently fighting 2SLGBTQ ppl in court, arguing that use of notwithstanding clause denies citizens the possibility of judicial recourse.
It’s a frightening precedent. No canadian media outside of Sask has reported on this.

They win when you:
- lose hope
- give up
- become cynical and withdraw
- keep silent to stay off their radar
Don't let them win.
