A passing fad. it'll never catch on, I reckon.
It’s the final weekend of the Public Access Kickstarter campaign! We’re currently trying to unlock our $450K stretch goal, Gathering Dust, a mystery inspired by Needful Things.
Please re-post!

Sixty years of gaming. One impossibly massive basement.

I spoke with @adammakesttrpg.bsky.social about TWELVE REALMS, their upcoming fantasy TTRPG that he and a wide team of creators have made. Bit of classic adventuring, some item-based dice mechanics and a lot of other fun stuff. Check it out! (not an April Fools joke, FTR)
You can grab my new novel.... now.
Like, right now.
Right this second.
Right now, as you're reading this, you could instead be reading a fantasy comedy novel about a trans elf mage running around committing crimes and trying to get her love life in order.
⭐COUNTDOWN TO RELEASE - FINAL 24 HOURS⭐
My latest novel, the first adventure in the "Disaster Queers" series, launches tomorrow!
✨ Queer found-family hijinks

and I did the city map! (plus another that I *think* will be appearing in the book as well that was a lot of fun to make)!
After 4 long years of development, I'm so excited to say that For Small Creatures Such As We and its stretch goal expansions are finally available in print for all you lovely people who have been waiting to get them for yourselves!

ooo. fuck. My sympathies - I had that in both shoulders for about a year and a bit a while back and it was a right fucker. Good(?) news is, it DOES *eventually* sort itself out.
The single page expansion map for the Guide to Fauna expansion. This is also split into rows and columns of hexes, separated by playing card symbols. Several small planet or space station illustrations are scattered across the map, and the whole thing is separated into sectors of varying danger, from green to red.
A single page expansion sector map for the 'Love and Lust' expansion to Small Creatures Such as We. This is also split into rows and columns of hexes, separated by playing card symbols. Several small planet or space station illustrations are scattered across the map, and the whole thing is separated into sectors of varying danger, from green to red.
The double-spread sector map from the main book. It's a starfield split into hexagons sorted in rows and columns by playing card type (ace through to King) Several small planet or space station illustrations are scattered across the map, and the whole thing is separated into sectors of varying danger, from green to red.
My hand holding up the cover of the main book. The title "For Small Creatures Such as We - Solo and Co-op sci-fi roleplaying" is large white text over a starfield and planet background, with a sun rising just behind the planet.
Got my lovely print copies of For Small Creatures Such as We by @annablackwell.bsky.social Very nice, very nice!
Included are a handful of Star sector maps by yours truly that look super cool in print form! 😁
oh no :( I'm so sorry Sonya.
check out this cool thing all about Devious Villains and Dangerous Lairs, it's full of words by a whole bunch of highly talented writers.
Also I'm in there too!

Possibly moving to the other extreme in that case 😅. Just lemme defend myself! (ideally with infinite ammo 😔)
Hot (resident evil) take? - I don't need the extra stress right now, so if there could be a little less hiding from scary unkillable monsters and more shooting them with comically oversized magnums, that would be appreciated. 😤
i've been calling the Crooked Moon 5e campaign 'the wicker muppet' because it invites you to create weird and wonderful characters like toys, and fish people and werewolves in dapper hats..then throws you into a realm populated entirely with humans who don't react to your gang of weirdos AT ALL.
related: if anyone has some good advice for trying to repair broken photoshop files with corrupted layers, i'd appreciate some suggestions!
ooookay. Laptop situation mostly resolved, setup and ready to go again. Retrieval of my old hard drive's files has been...something of a problem, and only the gods remember the last time I did a file backup (ok probably December).
Bit of a setback, but hopefully things are back on track(ish)
Well my harddrive just died. I feel sick to my stomach right now.
Already popped my details through! 😁, thanks!
That actually reminds me i've got, like, 10000+ (!) words of a 5e setting/region (written on the promise of royalties later of course) for a project that he ended up cancelling. All of which has just been sitting in limbo.
I really liked that stuff...I should do something with it. 🤔
me holding a painted miniature of a Nightmare - a jet black spectral hell horse with a flaming fire mane and hooves, leaping over a pair of crumbling gravestones. There is a raven sitting on its back for extra evil portent.
front view of the Nightmare miniature - a jet black spectral hell horse with a flaming fire mane and hooves, leaping over a pair of crumbling gravestones. The hooves are casting fire light back on to the grave marker with a little environmental lighting effect.
I remember this being a real Nightmare to paint! (*sad trombone noise*)
12 Delves month 2 - The Emotive Tomb.
Second of my monthly Coriolis Delve maps - a smaller vault for a shorter month! Write up to follow on my page for paid subscribers soon(ish)!

Heck! Obviously backing that. Dunno how I missed seeing it. 😅
“Screenshot of a promoted Reddit post by u/AYAGDOS. The post reads: ‘Navigating gender dysphoria? Join our confidential, cross-country study of 18–25 year olds to tell your story, challenge preconceptions, and have YOUR experience reflected in the science.’ Below is a banner graphic with the Northwestern University logo and the text ‘TRANS OR GENDERQUEER? If you see this, don't participate. It's a rigged study by Lisa Littman and unethical researcher J. Michael Bailey meant to undermine access to care. Spread the word.
