Mighty fine 2m band opening this morning. Looks like it’ll be here for a couple days with this warm, still air in the forecast. My favorite time of year! #aprs #troposphericducting #hamradio

I did the same a couple of weeks ago on Mt. Oglethorpe, just north of Atlanta, and the Mesh was rolling in big time! Line of sight is an amazing thing.

What was the frequency? I’ve used Group Monitoring on 10m a few times with good results. 29.250Mhz, I believe it was.

Ah! Well that certainly makes sense. Just getting into Mesh here and it seems like the longer the nodes stay on, the better the results.

Merely asking - for which reason did you not just use power from your vehicle’s battery?

Looking at the rainy forecast ahead, a warming trend is also beginning! Spring is coming! Warm-season lawn owners, it’s time to put down the pre-emergent. It’s never too early to battle poa annua!

Definitely don’t see flaps down or any flight control inputs on the wings. Number 2 engine contains hydraulic pump system, I believe. Strange to not abort final and go-around to figure things out and at least slow it down to stall speed with gear-up landing. I smell bad CRM or situational awareness.
