I never got my hands on Rampage. I’m hoping TransArt makes one.
Did I accidentally end up having the last word on a humanities panel & state my position on Ai was burn it to the ground?
I did.
I said we shouldn’t conflate answers with learning & give away what makes us human for efficiency (which isn’t). It’s all anti-human spinweaveandcut.com/fall-2025-sy...
Yeah. This headline misses the whole point.
Get ready for one of the best sequences in Star Trek.
It’s from Amok Time. youtu.be/onUvPT0NK3s?...
A little research figuring out this #StarTrek melody for a @firstflightpod.bsky.social podcast coming out in the next couple months. (I have terrible hand positioning because I’m not a pianist. 😁)
Does anyone have sheet music for this piece?
Imperfection?
Take the wrong lesson from a movie:
Star Trek: Generations
Living in a fantasy world of your own creation can lead to real-world solutions.
100% agree.
I don’t think this a hot take, but I always wish we had gotten to see more of Janeway and Tuvok’s friendship in Voyager.
They’re ride or die besties and I love that about them.

Thanks again @tehborg.bsky.social for the perfect picture. It’s always funny!

That’s huge, man. Just making the time for that is great.
Picked up some Trek comics today on the way home from jury duty!
GREAT pick!
Best scene in the episode!

Is it one of the Cardassian scientist women in “Destiny”?
“Our hearts beat as one,” Worf says.
Jay-Den stands. They embrace each other’s hands.
“Like a billion points of light making up the night sky,” Jay-Den finishes.
Worf nods.
7/7
We need a Seven-Tuvok thread on @firstflightpod.bsky.social, @abbymsommer.bsky.social?
Also, I love how this episode begins the show’s attempt at replacing the Kes-Tuvok relationship with Seven-Tuvok. You see this all throughout season 4 and then it just stops. Missed opportunity, but I love what we get.
“Honor earned in any endeavor uplifts not only the self, but all Klingons,” Worf explains.
“A human leader we studied last semester explained that we live in a network of mutuality—tied in garment of destiny,” Jay-Den explains. “That what affects one, affects all.”
“King,” Worf says.

You and me both, Stuart lol
…that rises above the typical fair of Trek.
Also, we have a crashed human starship in the Delta Quadrant. That’s huge in the context of Voyager’s story.
Obviously, I respect your score. It’s just fun to think about! As always, I love that you share your rewatch data!
My scoring based on your metric:
Concept 1.0
Character 1.0
Resonance 1.0
Big Picture 0.5
HFS 0.5
4/5
Concept is strong, building off of the Locutus story but asking “what if a child was assimilated?”
HFS is given 0.5 for the direction by Burton. There’s terrifying imagery…
