I wrote this on Thursday night before the news of the weekend — looking at it now, I feel even more confident in my position. Posting is good & necessary, and also: posting is not enough.

ICE murdered Renée Good in broad daylight. Less than 3 weeks later, they killed Alex Pretti, shooting him 10 times. Every day, we watch as people are ripped from their cars, their homes, their lives.

We can't allow ourselves to look away from this cruelty. Abolish ICE.

A national boycott is needed and it should include the Super Bowl and March Madness

He was doing what many have been saying white men should be doing. He went outside to observe, he documented, he put his body on the line to protect another person and for this he was murdered by the gatekeepers of the fascist regime.

To be clear, voting not to continue historically high budget increases and demanding accountability for ICE is the moderate, “swing vote” friendly position for all the smarty Dem strategists out there who seem to think it’s radical

He was trying to help a female protester who was shoved to the ground and ICE executed him. And yet the smartest guys in our party defend giving them more money and power because “swing voters”
