I do listen to sports talk during my commute rather than rock radio - I can’t hear Comfortably Numb another thousand times per week, and I do enjoy being current on sports. It’s the “hot take” bait I tire of. (Bayless, Stephen A)

The age of professional broadcasting is gone. The approach now is to fill every second with meaningless stats, graphics and so called personality of ex athletes in way too tight suits. (old man yelling at clouds, forgive me)

Some of the worst offenders are sports commentators. I just cringe when they incorrectly use a big word to sound smart, and it just slides through.

I kind of hate the cave in that eventually happens after constant misuse of words. Perhaps society needs that stern old teacher with a tight bun hair-do, ready to snap the ruler when language goes sideways 🤷🏼‍♂️
