a sheet of some of my favorite logos I've designed wherein all secondary colors have been turned into matcha green and tertiary colors to dark grey. these logos range from comics titles, studio logos, artist logo marks, and in-game assets.

If I had one piece of advice for new solo devs it would be this: find a good game like yours and copy their UI. don't design your own UI. you are not as good at UI design as you think you are. in fact you are much worse

Itâs truly been heartening to see the amount of people reaching out with offers for work, help, and the like since The Event in October â¤ď¸ With the way the games industry currently is Iâm so lucky to have landed in a position to not have to worry about work while working to hold them to account
I guess nowâs as good a time as any to say I started as a Senior Developer at SMG Studio a little over a month ago and Iâm having a great time.
Using a rover to zip around the more boring planets is absolutely amazing. I feel like space travel is *almost* there but itâs so far beyond how it was at launch.
They definitely canât fix the biggest issues I have with it - being that I find the fiction pretty generic and boring (wow space cowboys, space cyberpunk city, pirates, how original!) but none of it is bad, just missed potential. Regardless still a pretty fun and engaging time đ
Iâve put 10h into Starfield on PS5 and honestly even though thereâs still flawed the game is WAY better than it was on launch. I havenât played since it came out and the last couple years of new stuff has made such a huge impact on the game! I like it a lot!
