In all of the hubbub I forgot to post pics of our family birthday party last weekend. The theme was Mexican food so fresh ingredients became the centerpiece

My assignment for tomorrow was to bring a non-pumpkin dessert to dinner so I made a Nantucket Pie. I know. Not really a pie but I didn’t name it. 🤷🏼‍♀️
It goes with the corn not-really-a pudding I’ll make in the morning. Happy Thanksgiving!

I couldn’t resist the Laderach chocolate shop today after a sample of their hazelnut and Swiss chocolate FrischSchoggi (chocolate slab) at the door. Whole hazelnuts — yum!
